Today we are a Nation almost 500 people strong. We are not paralyzed by bitterness or anger over the wrongs that have been done to our people and to our environment. We are looking forward and we use our traditional knowledge as a foundation, applying it to the urban setting in which we live. In everything we do, we assert our aboriginal rights and title, and endeavor to put the Tsleil-Waututh face back on our traditional territory. To do this, we think big and act.
We will continue to share what we have learned with the broader community. As always, we remain committed to caring for and healing our traditional territory. We strive to build a culture and an environment that will allow future generations of Tsleil-Waututh people to thrive as our ancestors have.
